Terms & software licence

These terms apply to the NEXICAPTURE app and this website. By installing or using NEXICAPTURE you agree to them.

## 1. Use
You may install and use NEXICAPTURE for personal and commercial work on any number of your computers. The videos you make belong to you. NEXICAPTURE does not add a watermark to them.

## 2. What you may not do
- Sell NEXICAPTURE, publish it (or a changed copy) under another name, or claim you made it.
- Bundle it with malware or with software installed without the user's clear permission.

Open-source parts of NEXICAPTURE keep their own licences (see open-source notices). Nothing here limits those rights.

## 3. Your recordings are your responsibility
Only record what you are allowed to record. Follow copyright and privacy laws and get permission from people who appear or are heard in your recordings.

## 4. Online services
Cloud tools use other companies' services with your own API key; their terms and prices apply.

## 5. Early access, no warranty
NEXICAPTURE is an early-access release, provided "as is" without any warranty. We cannot promise it is free of errors, that every recording will be saved, or that it works on every computer. Keep copies of important recordings.

## 6. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, recordings, income or other damage from using, or not being able to use, NEXICAPTURE.

## 7. Changes
We may update NEXICAPTURE and these terms. Using NEXICAPTURE after a change means you accept the new terms.

## 8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
